This means that if you cancel your subscription and later sign up again, whether shortly after or much later, that new subscription will not be considered a first purchase, since you have already accessed the service and had the opportunity to try the platform.

Regarding Gift Cards, refunds can only be issued if the purchase was made within 14 calendar days and the gift card has not been activated. If the gift card has already been activated, unfortunately a refund will no longer be possible.
